Corina-Maria Scheianu (Spring Farma): BusinessLeague Gave Us a Highly Motivating Competitive Context

4 years of Spring. A good to very good period for the Spring Farma team, as Corina-Maria Scheianu, Digital Marketing Manager at the company, tells us.

Corina-Maria Scheianu (Spring Farma): BusinessLeague Gave Us a Highly Motivating Competitive Context

For a significant part of these 4 years, the store has spent its time at the highest level of BusinessLeague: Unicorns. Last round, they generated over 10,000 sales, and the numbers look even more optimistic for the rest of 2025. In fact, the Spring team was among the leading architects of the first million sales this year in BusinessLeague, a milestone reached in June. So we sat down with Corina to better understand both the strategy and the ambitions of Spring Farma.

Always a Unicorn 😀

Our success in BusinessLeague is due, first and foremost, to the perseverance and discipline with which we do things day by day. We are a compact team, yet extremely aligned in our objectives. We embrace innovation, constantly test new formats, technologies, and strategies, and believe in the idea of a real partnership, not just execution. When the whole team pulls in the same direction and always keeps an eye on what works now, it is impossible not to grow. And BusinessLeague gave us a highly motivating competitive context.

Reluctance toward affiliate marketing

Reluctance most often comes from a lack of understanding of the mechanism and the fear of losing control over the message or the brand. However, the reality is different: affiliate marketing is an extremely efficient channel for high-quality conversions, as well as for awareness in niches that are hard to reach through other methods.

My advice? Try it. Measure it. Optimize it. It is a channel that offers visibility and performance without risky investments in media buying. If you choose the right partners, you will quickly notice improvements in ROI – and you will reach audiences you might never have reached otherwise.

BusinessLeague, in a single sentence

A successful mix of healthy competition, gamification, and real performance that pushes you to surpass your own goals month after month.

How does affiliate marketing in BusinessLeague deliver compared to other channels?

BusinessLeague has provided us with an affiliate context that has an immediate impact on conversions, as well as a visibility boost among affiliates who truly deliver. For example, in peak months, affiliate marketing through 2Performant brought us up to 15–20% of our total online conversions, at a considerably lower cost per conversion compared to traditional paid media (Google Ads or Meta). What is different? The pace, the dynamics, and the fact that you always have the opportunity to collaborate with affiliates who are themselves results-oriented – not just focused on reach or traffic.

Tell us about your current campaign

Our current campaign (Spring's 4-year anniversary) is centered on seasonal products, especially immunity supplements, sun protection and hydration products, as well as special offers on top dermocosmetics. Customers benefit from real discounts and fast delivery – an essential mix for pharma e-commerce. Additionally, we constantly offer prizes for order thresholds or for various actions completed on the site.

For affiliates, it is a period with very good potential, with an above-average cart value and an excellent CTR in the mentioned categories. The reward for them consists of an increased commission for certain product categories in our portfolio.

There are plenty of opportunities; what matters is communicating them consistently, smartly, and relevantly, and we provide all the necessary materials: clean feeds, newsletters keeping them updated on monthly promotions they can communicate to attract traffic, banners, etc.

What makes a solid store-affiliate partnership?

A good partnership is based on trust, constant communication, and results. We look at conversion history, the type of promoted content, how brand guidelines are respected (when applicable), and, of course, the willingness to collaborate on testing and optimization.

We appreciate affiliates who come with proactive proposals, know their audience, and want us to grow together – not just "send traffic".

BusinessLeague. If you were to change one single thing about the competition, what would it be?

Perhaps I would add a component of constant feedback between affiliates and advertisers, a dedicated space for open discussions or micro-consultations. Often, more direct communication leads to better results for both sides. And it would also be interesting to test a "matchmaking" format – allowing advertisers to meet new affiliates who are a great fit for them.
